Survivorman

Just discovered the show Survivorman on The Science Channel.  It's about a survival expert named Les Stroud who is dropped in hostile environments and left to his own devices to, well...survive.  He films his adventures himself, but of course, he has a full production crew and support team within rescue distance.  Still, it's entertaining, not least because he spends much of his time shirtless.  Gotta love a rugged outdoorsman doing manly things in his bare chest on national television.
